CG 20 10 — Additional Insured - Owners, Lessees or Contractors (Ongoing Operations)

Standard ISO endorsement adding upstream General Contractors and Project Owners as additional insureds for liability caused in whole or in part by the subcontractor's ongoing operations.

⚠️ The Underwriting Trap

Does NOT cover Completed Operations. If a pipe bursts or an electrical short causes a fire 30 days after job completion, this endorsement provides ZERO coverage to the GC.

✅ General Contractor Remedy

Must always be paired with CG 20 37 (Completed Operations) or an equivalent blanket endorsement.

Standard ISO Policy Wording

Section II - Who Is An Insured is amended to include as an additional insured the person(s) or organization(s) shown in the Schedule, but only with respect to liability for 'bodily injury', 'property damage' or 'personal and advertising injury' caused, in whole or in part, by your acts or omissions.
